Once a booking or other request is saved, the receptionist can continue without waiting for its update emails to finish sending.
Customer messages keep your business branding and reply address. Failed email processing can be retried separately, with extra checks to avoid sending an accepted message again because its delivery record could not be saved.
What changed
Related booking, refund and escalation emails are now handled separately from the conversation after the request has been saved. The receptionist can continue while the email waits to be sent.
Customer emails retain their business branding, message content and reply address. Your email preferences still apply. Verification codes and the checks needed to save a request remain separate from these update emails.
More reliable email processing
Failed email processing is scheduled for another attempt, up to the allowed retry limit. If an email has already been accepted for delivery, a problem saving its delivery or usage record triggers a separate bookkeeping retry instead of another send.
Extra checks also prevent two simultaneous attempts to queue the same workflow message from creating two copies. These safeguards do not guarantee that every recipient mailbox will accept or display a message.
What to expect
Emails may arrive shortly after the receptionist replies. A confirmed appointment still depends on a saved appointment and the necessary confirmation steps.
Controlled tests showed less waiting in the email notification step. This is not a claim about measured end-to-end call speed; live waiting times depend on the conversation and connection.
