Calling improvements and a developer-only realtime preview

Current and experimental calling now name your configured services when a caller asks about booking options. Experimental calls also pass caller recognition details through correctly, retain earlier caller details across interruptions and the opening notice, and use shorter reply context and a more responsive turn-ending setting. Brief noise while recognition finishes no longer discards the waiting reply. Simple greetings and explicit service-option questions avoid an extra response-model step. Ordinary availability answers now come directly from the checked diary without an extra response-model step, and a final goodbye after declining a booking ends the conversation. Hermes and Athena are temporarily limited to developer accounts while call quality is tested. The public realtime demo is paused; current Call Studio calling remains available.

What changed

Both calling modes now answer booking-service questions using your configured services, so callers can choose instead of being asked the same question again.

The experimental voice path now carries caller recognition details into the same conversation engine used by current calling. Its spoken reply uses a smaller context, and faster turn detection remains active after the opening notice throughout the conversation.

Earlier caller speech is retained when it overlaps the opening notice or a reply is interrupted, so the next question can still refer to what the caller already said. Interrupted replies are no longer treated as fully heard when deciding what to ask next.

Brief noise while recognition finishes now delays the waiting reply until the noise stops, rather than discarding the answer. If a lookup stalls, experimental calling now asks the caller to try again instead of leaving the conversation waiting indefinitely.

Ordinary availability questions now receive a direct answer from the checked diary without starting booking verification. A caller who declines a booking and says goodbye receives a farewell instead of another booking question.

Simple greetings and explicit service-option questions also avoid an extra response-model step. Other questions during intake still receive an answer before the receptionist asks for the next booking detail.

Availability while testing continues

Hermes and Athena are currently limited to developer accounts. Existing non-developer profiles use current Call Studio calling for subsequent calls, and the public realtime demo is paused.

These changes address identified failures; they are not a claim that live call latency has been fully validated. Current calling remains available for comparison and testing.
