Live Calls now connects your browser microphone and speakers directly to the caller. The caller stays with the receptionist until you connect. After takeover, AI listening, transcription and replies stop. Use mute, keep talking while navigating the dashboard, and end the call for both. Ordinary call charges continue; AI usage already incurred remains counted.
We also fixed delayed suspension checks and Statistics refresh races, stale results and incomplete breakdown percentages. Statistics now shows previous-period totals, UTC dates and an exact-values table, with clearer light-mode contrast.
Our live-call guide, pricing explanation and relevant policies now describe handoff availability, recording and usage.
What changed
Live voice takeover gives a team member a direct conversation with the caller through their browser microphone and speakers. It is useful when a caller needs a person to make a decision or when you want to finish a conversation yourself.
The handoff has a clear boundary. The caller stays with the receptionist while you connect; once takeover succeeds, AI listening, transcription and replies stop so the person taking over can conduct the conversation.
Before and after
Before this update: The Live Calls page did not provide this direct browser voice takeover. Watching a call and speaking to the caller were different capabilities.
With this update: You can connect from Live Calls, mute your microphone, keep speaking while moving around the dashboard and end the call for both sides.
What it means for you
Use takeover when you are ready to speak, with a working microphone and speakers or headset. The same release improves Statistics with previous-period totals and an exact-values table, making it easier to review the activity behind a summary.
Takeover does not erase usage already incurred. Ordinary call charges continue and earlier AI use remains counted. Availability and recording details are explained in the live-call guide and the relevant policies.
