The receptionist can correct obvious email transcription slips, such as “gnail.com” to “gmail.com” or a misplaced dot before a recognised email provider. It reads the corrected address back and asks you to confirm it before using it.
Email corrections now apply only to the complete provider domain, so similar text in your email name or a longer custom domain stays unchanged. Spoken domain endings are kept as supplied, “Google Mail” is recognised as googlemail.com, and malformed email addresses prompt a repeat instead of being shortened to a different address. If the suggested address is wrong, say so and the receptionist will ask for a replacement. These changes passed offline checks.
