SIMCOAI has a support line. Ring it and you are asked to press 1 for help with your account or 2 to speak to a person. Press 1 and you reach an assistant that can talk you through signing in, resetting a password, what is on your plan and how billing works. Press 2, at the menu or at any point afterwards, and you are put through to somebody on the team.
If nobody is free, you are not left with nothing. Rather than ringing out, the line takes your number and puts you in a callback queue that a person works through, and it tells you that is what has happened. The same thing happens if the call reaches a person and they cannot pick up in time.
The line opens with a notice that you are speaking to a digital assistant and that the call may be recorded, before anything else happens. That notice is part of the platform and cannot be switched off.
It never asks for a password, a sign-in code or card details, and it will not discuss anything specific about your account, because it has no way to confirm who is calling. Anything of that kind goes to a person.
