Zapier setup moved into your dashboard, and the trigger list finally matches what SIMCOAI actually sends

The Zapier setup guide undercounted what SIMCOAI could do - it listed nine triggers when SIMCOAI has always published sixteen (every stage of a booking, order, refund, escalation and customer), and its steps implied a SIMCOAI app already existed in Zapier’s own picker. Neither was true. The Integrations page in your dashboard now shows the real sixteen triggers and the connection method that works today - Zapier’s own built-in Webhooks app, no code and no waiting on a directory listing. You can also log an order, add or update a customer, or search for one from a Zap, not just send data out of SIMCOAI.

What changed

The Integrations page made the available events and setup route clearer. The update corrected a guide that listed fewer triggers than the service actually published and assumed an app was already available in the Zapier picker.

The sixteen published events covered stages of bookings, orders, refunds, escalations and customers. The guide also explained inbound order and customer work, so the integration was not presented as outbound-only.

Before and after

Before this update: The guide listed nine triggers and described a directory connection that was not available at that time.

With this update: The dashboard guide showed the sixteen triggers and explained a working connection using Zapier’s built-in Webhooks app, including ways to log an order or work with a customer.

What it means for you

This is a historical setup milestone. The dedicated SIMCOAI Zapier app now has a sign-in approval flow and additional actions; use the current Integrations guidance when creating a new connection.

Choose a trigger for the specific stage your workflow needs. A booking creation and a later status change are different events, and forwarding both without planning can produce duplicate work in the receiving app.
